How does normal Hummel sizing run compared with nike? I fit just a bit snug in my 8.5 T90's, but the 8.5 adi preds are far too long... This is why I ask, especially when buying online.

How old approximately is the vault series, when did it come out?

What is a good price range on a new pair of Hummel affeciandos or golden goals?

Finally, how does the technology compare? There are a lot of threads (most seem from an uninformed poster though), saying that Hummel shoes are an overpriced waste of time with low technology. What do you guys say about it?

vault series is about 3-4 years old?

MSRP of afficiando's were $300
MSRP of golden goal's were $350 (used hollowed dual-density studs...thought it was an interesting concept)

i'd say anything <$100 is a good deal

hand-made in Japan, sold in limited quantities

don't fall into the hype of boot technology, it's overrated (i.e. copa mundial - 30 year old technology still working fine in 06). the boots are probably great, but seriously overpriced

as far as fit, i'm clueless, but probably close to the adidas (european) sizing. plus the k-leather they used was probably hand picked so expect it to be soft and to stretch a little.

Well I cannot vouch for the Vault series but I do own a pair of the still-pricey-though-made-in-China Silver Anniversary Indoors and I'd say the design and construction are top notch. They fit tru-to-size and the touch and comfort are up there, certainly. After 10 games, they're holding up well.
