Let's make it 3 clean sheets in a row and get a goal or two against Spotty and the Magpies. Shall we? Really, I'm asking.

My lineup:
Carson
Young - Diawara - El K - HH
Rommedahl - Faye - Reid - Thomas [or Ambrose]
JFH - D. Bent

Subs: Myhre, Fortune, Kishishev, Ambrose [or Thomas], M. Bent

Newcastle sits 16th on 7 points. Their manager is on the hot seat. They haven't been playing well. And we have two former Magpies that probably want to make a good impression. And it's time JFH broke loose and got a goal -- or two.

I know this will sound crazy, but if we could win 4-0, then we would go above the Magpies on goal differential. Yeah, I'm dreaming. I would take a one goal victory of any kind. And a jump of at least one space up the table.

Go Addicks! Beat Newcastle!

BBC's Lawro predicts a 2-2 draw.

Looking at the lineups, I think the Addicks match up pretty well. In fact, I would say we have more proven goal scorers than the Magpies have right now. The only problem is ours haven't been getting any service and when they have, well, they haven't finished.

Thoughts?

You know, I am thinking that the Magpies will be very confident after a win against high-flying Pompey. And I think maybe, just maybe, they are going to be too confident.

Whereas, I think the Addicks confidence will boost them to get their first road points of the season. Everyone is picking against us. And looking at stats and our record, who can blame them.

It's time to really play and show folks we are not going to stay at the bottom.

Our record is rubbish, but our play is getting better -- and better, I think.

Go Addicks!

I hate to say it -- at least we didn't lose.

I guess at this point, getting a point on the road is a good thing. But we need some wins to climb.

Many are saying we were lucky that Duff didn't have a hat trick by halftime. But the point is, he didn't.

We are bottom, so the jokes will be said. But I'm certain the Addicks will have the last laugh and not be relegated.
