PSG Admit Higuain Interest
Paris St Germian have revealed that they are interested in signing young River Plate striker Gonzalo Higuain in the January transfer window.
The 18-year-old, who was born in France and is a French national, is regarded as another potential superstar off the Argentinian conveyer belt.
"We are interested," PSG chairman Alain Cayzac was quoted as saying in L'Equipe. "He's a good, strong player."
Agent Pini Zahavi and a group of agents have a 50% share in Higuain, and it appears that England not France may be their preferred option.
Zahavi told the Daily Express: "The boy is special. He is big, strong and well suited to the English game. English football has become stronger than Italy and Spain and players want to try it for themselves.
"I recommend players to investors. The idea is to locate them when they are young on the way to the top, the risk is bigger but they cost less."
