The thing is, for all we know is he could be sucking it up in the practices, maybe that's why he's not even making it onto the bench anymore.
Thats true, but the question still stands that we do not know. I think that he may be overshadowed by Gomes since he has been there for a long time. It seems hard to compete for a spot when so many others are there.

Micolli had a red card last week and won't play against the defending champs away. It looks Kikin will have the toughest test we could find next Saturday.
There is a 50% chance he will start!!!!

Well, I hope he does, and scores. If not things could be looking really hard.
On a side note, is it just me or does Benfica get lots of red cards??

I agree and when he has had an opportunity he hasnt done anything. Hopefully in his next shot he does something.

do u think fonseca is not on benfica's plans right now?
or he is just not showing what he should on training?

I think its mostly the second one. The thing is I think he was brought in for depth on the bench, and because he hasn't really performed when he's been given the chance, he's not getting many chances anymore.

That's not easy to explain, too many factors, some not Benfica related.
Botton line is if we were brilliant, this wasn't happening.

You have to admire Benfica's coach (insert sarcasm)...he puts Kikin in with 10 min left whenever he does play and now their going to start him against arguably their biggest rival, truly a recipe for success. I still have faith in him, hopefully him and Nuno can play side by side and tear shit up.

Ah no... totally different situation...
Borgetti was already burned-out when Bolton got him. And if you read my old posts, you'll see I thought bolton had been cheated.
Kikinho isn't. The trouble is, kikin is in his prime.
Borgetti has euro passport.
kikinho doesn't.
Bolton got fooled by borgetti having scored a gazillion goals vs. regional rivals and a good confed cup.
Kikinho built a solid reputation at home.
Borgetti announced Rexona.
Kikin announced Pepsi and now EA Sports.

I didnt say they were the same person. I just said it was similar, in the fact that they're both mexicans abroad, not getting playing time, and in turn wasting their time, and I also did say that it seemed, Im still giving it a little more time.

He played 62 minutes. I think they said that he had a ball hit the post. It sucks that he did not score but I wonder if he atleast played well.

Ah no, not well enough.
See, for more than that we rip foreigners in the mex league for not producing enough.
He's a foreigner now. And he's sucking big time.
See, for instance, despite the fact that he aint new in the league, people rip Chamagol for being utterly unable to score. Never mind he tries. He sucks cuz he was taken to tigres to score.
Same with kikin.
