Following Newcastle is a birthright, a religion, a warm-up before the knees-up of a night out. On the Geordie check-list of must-do activities, watching the Toon ranks alongside breathing. Such loyalty merits better leadership. Shepherd Out.

Great article from the Telegraph. This guy has got it right. It starts at the top. Roeder is a result of Shepherd's ineptness. While he is not immune to criticism, simply removing Roeder is not the solution.

Where do I sign?

Oh, yeah, but Roeder's got to go as well, methinks.

Agreed. I'd be stunned if the club was sold and Roeder kept his job, if he even has it when/if that time comes.

Posted previously in the wrong thread:

I'd love to see Roeder stay, but I do have a concern that his high school teacher/high school soccer coach management style is better suited as a reserves/youth coach than top flight EPL.

At this point, and I hate to say this, but relegation pressure could be the best thing that has happened to us.

As for Fat Fred, well that psuedo geordie couldn't turn a profit on a gas station on the New Jersey turnpike without burning the place down for insurance money...Buy him out, Cut him off, close his access to the ATM that is Newcastle United and send him packing...

If it takes relegation or the even threat of it to get the right people in, then so be it.

Shepherd plans Toon takeover (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=415898&in_page_id=1779)

If it weren't the Mail, I'd start panicking.

For all the talk of FF out, the fans aren't doing a ********ing thing about it. Getting 100 fans together at the end of the game doesn't cut it. If they really believe Fatty needs to go, well then they need to get organized and really get it going. We need him out of the club, but just posting stuff online won't do it.

Just another update on Belgravia from today, and they say they're still in discussions.

Takeover story getting some more legs this morning. A formal bid possible within weeks. There's speculation on some real estate deals being added to the buyout, developing the area around St. James, maybe some tie-ins with the casino that may or may not be coming.

The Belgravia Group, which wants to take over Newcastle, is expected to have either made a formal bid or withdrawn altogether by Christmas. (Guardian)

Looks like the Toon Army could be getting a great Christmas gift.
