Get it while it's hot:

It's noticeably faster than the older versions.

There's nothing on Firefox's site
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
I'll wait until it shows up there before I upgrade.

It's been pushed out to the mirrors. The download site is one of them. In fact I'm writing this post using Firefox 2.0.

I'm sure it'll be official later this week. I don't mind waiting. :)

There's an extension called Nightly Tester Tools that will force extensions to work with newer versions of Fx.
You can also do other things with it, like take a screenshot, insert build ID (or even list of extensions) automatically into any textbox, open the profile folder and more.

I just downloaded FF 2 a few minutes ago and it is very nice. I am typing this message with it
I was already used to FF 1.5 and IE 6 and the upgrade to ff is a lot better than the crap that microsoft came up with IE 7.

Seems slower than 1.5.
I like the tab revival option.

Here's more:
If you click the down arrow next to the back/forwards arrows, you can see a list of recently visited websites. Middle-click any one of those websites, and you can open in a new tab.

Lifehacker has a list of configs - they're fairly easy to mess around:

And while Hama and his boys cream themselves over the new version of IE that they expect to last for several years, Mozilla pushes ahead with plans for Firefox 3.0 (Q1 2007) and 4.0.
