Time to regain our trophy! Crewe have nothing to lose and will go all out for this, I'm thinking a few of the reserves will get a run out too, if Davy Jones doesnt start we can kiss him goodbye :-(

Lineup --

--------Kuzz-attack------------
Res*---Wes--O'shea------Heinze
Res*---DJ---Carrick----Krich-----
-----20LEGEND---Rossi..errr Smith--

*Res = Reserve player.

David Jones has to start this one !!
I will play Rooney for 45 minutes or so just to try to get him on the scoresheet.
If Heinze is fit, i will play him to get him match fit too.

The game is on Setanta USA in the U.S.

Hmm...Starting Rooney or Smith ? I would start Smith since he needs it more IMO.

Silvestre (http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid=%7BF9E570E6%2D407E%2D44BC%2D800F%2D4A3110258114%7D&newsid=373064) expected to play after undergoing work out at OT after the 'pool game. (I can hear the groans already :D ). Heinze's back too.

I'm guessing this:

-------------Koo Stark-------------

Brown---O'Shea---Silvestre---Heinze

Ronaldo*---Jones---Jones---Richardson

----------Smith-----Ole--------------

*Mullan/Barnes if not fit?

Maybe even Ritchie Jones on the right and bring Kieran Lee into the middle?

We have a tricky fixture against Bolton coming up next weekend, and so I think it would be best to rest key players.

....................Kuszczak........................
O'Shea.....Brown.....Silvestre......Heinze
..............D.Jones....R.Jones.................
Barnes.................................Richardson
.................Ole.......Smith.....................
SUBS: Heaton, Rooney, Fletcher, Ronaldo, Evra

That's what I'd go with and I have a feeling Fergie will. Although maybe Heinze central and Silvestre at LB. Less risky.

This looks best. I'd love it if we could run out that line up. I'd like to see Carrick on the bench rather than Fletcher though.

Close, but I think Ronaldo will play instead of Barnes, who could be on the bench.

I wouldn't start R.Jones... I hope D.Jones is fit and gets a quality CM partner, one whom he doesn't have to hold the hand of.

I can't believe the irony in Rossi being at Newcastle, when he'd have got more PT here and would definitely start this game.

He might be injured but don't quote me on it. ;) He didn't feature at all in the reserve squad that played Wigan last week.

I'm a little surprised to see Fletcher in there, maybe I'm reading too much into it but I guess that means he won't start at the weekend and we'll go with Giggs, Carrick, Scholes and Ronaldo in midfield for that one?

Edit.. Brandy played and scored for the U-18's on Friday. :o

Surprised to see Aaron Burns in there. He only just seems to have broken into the reserve team. His hat-trick last week must have made a big impression. He certainly seems a very confident guy judging from his post-match interview. I really don't think Shawcross is ever going to make the first team.

I wish we could get to see some seconds of Febien Brandy. And this would be the perfect time for David Jones to stake his claim

Hopefully we field a strong team. Fletcher and Jones in CM, Smith and Ole up front.

Thats what I would want, but would Fergie play Fletcher three times a week? Surely he is penned in to the team sheet for Bolton barring injury. If Fletcher doesnt play who would be your alternative? Mine would be O'shea.

Smith is definitely going to start up front, so that is going to be nice to see him back at it again. Hopefully he gets some goals. I don't think Fletch is going to play this...I expect Ronaldo out Left and Fletch out right next weekend so Darren needs rest.
