Nice amateur video of the iranian skiing stations : Dizin, Shemshak and Darbandsar, made by an english speaking familly (Afghan origin ??). Gone to Iran for their skiing holidays :).
They also try to show how far from reality the "axis of evil" and "Fanatic" image given of iranians in certain medias is.
I also like it when they take their friday off to visit the Tehran bazar (the slopes are jammed because of the week-end). They show a store where you chose all the elemnts you want, including the trade mark :D, and they make you your sneakers.

Who said they're Afghan? They don't sound or look like it.

I did'nt say they are, but they might be. The father looks afghan. And their familly name is Nazim. It was just my opinion.

The dad looks European to you? He looks like the typical taxi driver in Iran .

I actually went skiing in Iran once when I was visiting the country. I was very impressed with their facilities and the best part is you can get a ski coach for something like three bucks an hour. I really improved my skiing and I owe it all to Iran.

Beautiful. My inexperience with snowboarding makes the lack of trees even more appealing.
I need to get over my fear of flying and get to that part of the world as soon as possible.

I can't quite remember what Warren Miller film it was, but they had a scene from Iran. Looked pretty exotic.
