I remember a few weeks ago I checked their website and it said they were gonna show Juve-Barca. What made ESPN change their minds? Not that i'm complaining because I'd MUCH rather see Man U-Real. But they hardly ever show the best match ups.

ESPN2 was originally going to show a game on Wednesday instead of Tuesday due to a conflict with the NBDL (the NBA Development League) playoffs. Not sure if the conflict evaporated or why the switch was made, but glad it was.

Prior to the completion of the 2nd Phase, "The Duece" originally listed a quarterfinal matchup to be shown on Wed 9 Apr and Tue 22 Apr. The matchups had yet to be determined, so I gathered that no matter what, they were determined to focus on both legs of one tie.
After the quarterfinal draw, ESPN2 stuck with the original dates and listed both legs of Juve-Barca.
A few days later, the dates were changed and focus was switched to Real-ManU. IMO, ESPN2 undoubtably viewed the Real-ManU encounters to be of bigger significance in regards to viewership.
They could just solve the whole freakin' problem by showing matches on both Tue and Wed, especially now that the knockout phases are beginning.

Think they'll show both legs of both semi-finals? They did last season.

Real smashed ManU's hopes to reach the final on their own stadium, if they continue like that the winners will be the blancos! :(

************************! 2-0 is enough.

If it were 1-0 in Madrid, Manchester would have to win 2-0 as well... only they would have half an hour longer to do so.

They will need to outscore them, are you really sure ManU is capable to do that? with that shaky defense?! dont make me laugh, even me, a hardcore barcelona fan see that as a titanic task!

I think you are joking about Neville, however Scholes' loss is a huge damage!

Veron may not be fit in time either.

I wonder if Ferguson will put Ole on the wing and Beckham inside. Golden Balls contributes very little whenever he lines up against Carlos.

Shaky defense? Man U have conceded the fewest goals in the Premiership this year. Rio Ferdinand is very good, and Barthez has learned not to be so unstable on his line. Real had a couple of flashes of greatness from Raul, and a genuine fluke half-shot, half-cross from Figo. Man U created many chances, and its a shame that only one went in. I agree that in many ways Real outplayed the Reds, but this series is not over by any stretch.
