according to La prensa libre interview with Mario in guatemala (he's there for the Offseason with Municipal his Contract right owners )
he will not be joining Miami Fc Next season...
Miami offer was financially weak according to mario

Thats too bad, Mario was one of the best players on the team.

I'm interested to see if MFC will aim for more South Florida talent or draw from their Brazilian connections for next year.

Great news. He was the worst so-called professional soccer player I've ever seen. You see him on the ground more than you see him with the ball; always falling down. I'm glad Miami's offer was too weak. :)

wasn't he the 2nd best producer in Goals and assist????? A USL All-Star?

i think he learned alot from Miami and the Usl. He said himself that Miami taught him alot

I think after the apertura season is over with Municipal in December, he will be training with a few Clubs TBD most likey MLS or Europe... If he stayed the SA connection would of helped though.... but Money makes Mario go...

the worst that can happen is that Municipal decides to Loan him out again , and he plays for another USL team

I thought Mario played well and showed a ton of heart for Miami this season. He was guilty of trying to do too much for his teammates on more then one occassion but I have to admit his hustle and desire was always there for all to see.

As to Miami giving him a weak offer, sadly that is going to be the theme for the '07 Miami FC. We are going to be in for a few surprises this season in terms of the roster.

I really enjoyed watching Miami FC when they visited Atlanta this past year and I hope the team gets the players to keep them competitve. They did a good job last year making the playoffs.
