Maybe somebody in LA does read our comments here?

A few weeks ago I complained about their annoucers in LA jumping in with their v.o. as soon as the whistle blew to end the half of the EPL matches. Cutting in as you could hear the UK based EPL PBP announcer wrap was driving me nuts.
So what happened today during the Arsenal v. Reading match as the half comes to an end?
I hear the EPL announcer wrap the half up, pause, and then up comes the score courtesy of FSC, and dip to black before commercial.
That's the way it should be done!
After all there's no need to have a v.o. from LA when the guys in the UK can take you to break just as well, if not better.

So a big "thanks" to whoever in LA made that call, and a extra "thanks" if it was response to a post in this forum.

I like when they do that. For the EPL games, I would take as much feed/commentary as they give you.

It seems the only compelling reason to step all over the announcers is to justify the FSC host's existance, and that's not a good reason. Let the guys talk.

I wish I could remember what game it was, but during a recent game, the LA host came on, spoke for a few moments, then apparently someone pushed the wrong button, as we heard the UK guy speak for a brief second before the LA guy came back on. (I WANT to say it was Sat 10/21, but i'm not entirely sure.)

But I wholeheartedly agree. If FSC is really losing money, why are they having these LA guys speak? You'd think they'd save money by not having those guys on.

If the LA guys HAVE to be on, then they should do pre and post-game (but not until the UK guy finishes talking.) Let the LA guys narrate the halftime highlights.
