they won today 3-1... w/ that result do they not take 2nd place?

he played well thru out the game. anybody have pics of him busting a chilena?

if psv go thru the next round, whose group do they face against?

He played excellent, although his passing is off the mark once in a while.

Had me holding my breath when he went down in the first half.

That was a hard challenge.

Luckily he recovered.

Iron man had a good game.He got beat in one play but he show some speed and recover to send it out for a corner. The team looked really good. The game was really fast that the cameras couldn't keep up with the ball.
Game was showed on telemundo, that was cool.

Did he play as a LB today? I thought they had him as CB? He needs to sharpen his passing a bit, but overall he played well.

Actually..i dont think it was the speed of the game. The feed and camera angles Telemundo got it from was horrible. Van Salcido played well.

Yeah I agree, I was unable to watch the game, but I'm glad they did well.

The camera was ruining the game...I hope that dude gets fired because that was pathetic. Salcido's performance was good, he got beat a couple of times buto verall he did fine. I'm really happy to see him on a strong squad, the whole team is playing great.

Weird about those camerapositions, I've watched the match live on tv and didn't notice anything about bad camerawork or "camera's not being able to track the ball", is it possible that they (telemundo) had their own camerateam there?

b.t.w. There's also a short highlightclip of the game on the PSV site:

Too bad he can't play the next game against Sparta on thursday. Although it's about time he finally sees his newborn daughter Jocelyn. Congrats to Carlos!

Word.. I was watching the replay of the game on ESPN International and the game was unwatchable. I thought I had my tv on Zoom because the view of the game was too close and there was times that the player with the ball was not on the tv.

Yes, salcido had a kid, he urged his wife to go to Mexico so the baby could be Mexican jeje.
Nice couple of games for psv so far, though ajax is doing just as good. Also good to see the psv defense be the best in the dutch league.
Anyone know when they play against ajax?

I don't know how many people or if Carlos Salcido himself is aware. If both parents are Mexican citizens, then any of their kids born on foreign soil are also Mexican citizens. They would just need a certified copy of the birth certificate and an apostille signed by that foreign country. Have those translated and register in Mexico.

Y listo!

Not sure who is the responsible party (Fox?) for that is. A very good rule I must add.
