I've been weighing the pros and cons of ditching my digicable in favor of DirecTV. (I've no experience with Dish but I've had good luck with DirecTV in the past, hence the preference.) With digicable I get FSW in my basic package but I understand that's not the case with DirecTV. I looked on the website but I couldn't find any cost information even though I did see FSW offerered through one of their sports packages.
Does anyone have any information on this?
Thanks,

It is a part of the Sports package. Along with FSW you get Golf Channel, Speed Channel, NBAtv, and regional (mostly Fox) sports channels. DirecTV prices their additional packages (HBO, Showtime, etc) at $12 for the first, $11 for the second and so on.
MLS shootout is have blackout for all the local MLS broadcasts. BTW, DirecTV makes it very easy to order all things online, except the MLS shootout.

however, you should get rebroadcasts of MLS games on FSR's, unlike digicable.
I found this on directv's website about MLS shootout:
