If kenn's back, I may have to actually spend more time in the B&M forum

(That sound you just heard was tcmahoney, geordienation and monster running for cover)

Damn nice work, but can you find a way to exclude HDTV. Just seeing those letters makes me green w/ envy.

The national TV broadcasts are up on MLSnet.com as well...and there are a few listings for "ENG".

Now, maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be willing to wager hard cash that those are the games pegged for Electronic News Gathering feed broadcast on the Shootout, much like the Crew-Quakes playoff game last year.

Can someone tell me why they are both playing at 4pm on Saturdays again? I don't follow WUSA, but it still seems like monumental stupidity to me to go up against each other like that. (If this has been discussed to death, can someone point me in the direction of a recent thread?)

I keep asking the following question:

Who's setting the TV time for these games: WUSA, or PAX?

No one has yet answered.

I'm mildly cheesed because my local PAX affiliate is showing infomercials right now instead of the game. I know I wont be able to watch the whole game because of my schedule, but still: Grr.

Isn't the game on ESPN2 right now?

You should indicate which matches are on FSWE. Also it's a bummer that some of those ESPN2 matches will be on tape delay early in the morning.

Not sure about that. I think it said something about Saturday night games only but I'm not sure.

You'll notice it does say Saturday night games in reference to FSE. You will also notice that every game listed is a Saturday night game.

I don't know if that means that the playoff games will not be televised on FSE, or if that just means they haven't gotten around to setting the dates, so they were talking about Saturdays since it is a league mandate that every time they talk about TV, they mention Soccer Saturday.

Okay. I see it. Thanks.

What is the "ENG" listing for on the MLSNET schedule?

These are for games that will be on the shootout but will only feature cameras intended to provide shots for newscasts.

Probably no commentary.

That's cool. I think I might prefer that to games with commentary. You get to hear the crowds and the players, right?
