Just found out they will be held in Canada, most of the stadiums within 8 hours of me. The final will be held 4 hours from me.
What will Argentina's team look like? Will Messi be a part of it, he will still be 19? What about Aguero. I would really like to see them play.
Can Argentina make it 2 Championships in a row?
I jsut checked out the tickets, I can get row 5 right in the middle of the field for the opener, 2 round of 16 games, 1 quarter final, the 3rd/4th game, and the final for $410 Canadian!
Will Messi and Aguero be a part of this team???!!!

Is anything known about the squads yet? Id like to get the tickets if Messi and/or Aguero are a part of it. Its pretty likely that Argentina will qualify.

I’m pretty sure that Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero won’t be a part of this team (Gonzalo Higuain either, but this is a different story). Stars? Probably Mauro Zarate (Velez), Maxi Moralez (Racing) and Ismael Sosa (Independiente), but there are more interesting players like Fabian Escudero (Velez), Miguel Torren (NOB) and Alejandro Gomez (Sarandi).

I think Aguero and Messi have moved beyond playing for the under 19 team. ;)
I've got a feeling that Higuain will get a call up for the senior squad soon, at least that would make him choose if he wants to represent Argentina or France, although from what I have read he seems to be making it clear that he wants to play for Argentina.

Leon is spot on, these guys are beyond the youth teams. Besides, I think with their getting senior caps, they could can no longer represent the youth teams. I could be wrong though.

I assume that's close for someone in Canada. I can cross Switzerland in 2 hours drive :p

There's some kid (I'm sorry but I can't remember his name) he's only 17 but Genoa have nicked him from Boca. But allegedly he is supposed to the next "super kid" (yawn, yawn, yawn), but Italy and Argentina are slugging it out for him, he was called up for the Argentine under 17 squad but declined it and has now been called up by the Italy under 17's and he is said to be undecided as to what to do, which probably means his agent will decide for him and that will be based on how much money is bunged his way, has anyone else heard about this?

Yes 8 hours is very close!
I figured since Messi and Aguero were both still under 20, that they could play for the U-20 squad...but I guess not.

*Even if they don't, I think that squad is worth the drive. I'm going to drive 12 hours +, and try to catch 3 games.

I think Aguero will take part, he played very little the last one. It would be great to see Aguero, Messi, Pipi. I can't wait for this tournament wish it came to Canada like now. :)
Here is the Toronto Stadium that is under construction now, which will hold some games.

The idea of this competition is to try out new, young talent in a tournament format, there is very little point in picking someone like Aguero because we all know how good he is, he has evolved beyong the under 20 stage and will be a feature in the full NT for a long time to come. Besides which I think Aguero wil be in the Copa squad.

I don't agree with you, I think Aguero unlike Messi needs more experience.
Messi already has World Cup exp, a U-20 Championship, Champions League experience, a La Liga Title and a Champions League title.
Aguero only has Primera experience, his national level is hardly anything to get worked up on. I'm sure he'll have more playtime on the National Squad, but I think he needs to be in the U-20 to experience fully what it means to be a National Team player. It's better for his development and he will only be 18 by then. The tournament is really a 18-20 year old tournament, not a 16 year old tournament.
