What do you consider to be the best English footballer on each Prem team?
I'll do one for an example:
(Some I can't make up my mind yet)
Chelsea: J. Terry/ A. Cole
Man United: Rooney
Liverpool: Gerrard
Arsenal: Walcott??
Tottenham: Robinson / Dawson
Blackburn: D. Bentley
Villa: G. Barry / Abonglahor (sp?)
West Ham: D. Ashton
Watford: B. Foster
Portsmouth: A. Cole/ D. James
Reading: ????
Man City: M. Richards / J. Barton
Fulham: Bullard
Newcastle: Owen (when fit)/ S. Parker
Charlton: D. Bent
Bolton: K. Nolan
Everton: A. Johnson
Boro: S. Downing

Its obviously King for Spurs.
And Joe Cole has to factor in the Chelsea discussion, as does Lampard (although not on current form).

nah lol, but still Hoyte is good prospect and wenger seem to choose him more than Walcott. I think Walcott will be great and will be the next Ronaldo. Hoye seem to have good chance of making the first team in the future, but he is overshadowed by leighton baines who is possibly the future Roberto carlos for england

Yes, because for so much trash that Walcott took for being on the English national team, which was Svens fault anyways. He is playing quite well for his age and experience.

And right off the bat i can tell that this thread was opened merely so that man u fans can say that rooney is the best player for man u....when practically everyone outside britain knows that it is ronaldo
Since they can't say "wayne rooney is best" without debate, they put in the parameter "english player"....the lows that some people go
I guess i should open a thread called best Argentinian on barcelona

If that's what floats your boat, but I'd do it in the Spanish League forum. If I were you, I'd also make it the best Spanish player on Barca. I'd imagine that would be more popular amongst the Spanish League crowd.

Odd... seeing as how the thread starter is a Birmingham fan, and only one Manchester United fan has posted a list up.

Some days, it's just best to steer clear of the internet. Posting can be dangerous when one's mind is not fully on it.
Thanks for the chuckle though ...
