New to board

Hey guys,

I just found the board the other day and have enjoyed reading your threads immensily. I'm a SLU alum, who loves watching soccer (especially the team with the most NCAA championships in men's soccer :D )! I really hope St. Louis get an MLS team in 2008...what do you think the chances are?

I think they are very good. The St. Louis group seems know what they are doing, and this thread (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=420391) gives us more reason for optimism.

Too bad SLU wouldn't allow a team to play at Hermann on a temporary basis. Who knows, maybe we'd have been awarded a team already.

Yeah, that is a shame SLU wouldn't let them use their field, but I guess they have their reasons. I'm glad you believe in the ownership group because I would love to see it happen!

ok i know this thread was dead and now has come back to life becuse of me but i would just like to say hi to all the members out here i live in stl and would love to get a team here so i can go sing and make all kinds of noise at the games. i support liverpool. also i have looked at the art work you have done with the jeasrys very cool i would like to post more but i dont have much to say yet im new to soccer so im still learing the basics. but i will be reading and if i have something to say i will tell you all
