Ok, enough about the Chelsea match already. Let's look ahead as opposed to looking back at something settled. Time to start a new undefeated streak. Let's go boy's!

is it home or away? i agree it'll be tough either way now that arsenal are hitting their stride, but reading will get/create their chances. hopefully they can take them, too.

I'm hoping for another confidence jarring "I thought that was supposed to be easy" set-back for Arsenal in Europe. We need a little self-doubt in their ranks to get something from the game.
Maybe they'll be frightened of our "thuggish reputation" and leap out of the way every time James "killer" Harper and Bobby "The Amputator" Convey close in.

Young Walcott will be quaking in his boots..Wenger will rest Henry, for fear of him getting hurt.
Anyway, yea, I'm not really looking forward to this game that much. Them having to come from Russia might be a bit of an advantage, though.

The game is being aired on Fox Soccer. Good to see so many Reading matches being shown.

I think it has a little more to do with who they are playing then how they are doing.

I originally thought that having two americans on the pitch was one reason so many reading matches were being shown on fsc, but then again, fulham and man city have two americans as well. Do their games get shown a lot?

It was kind of weird to actually have the oppositions fans posting on the Reading board....

Seems like Fulham gets on FSC all the time.
Man City not so much but still often.

Discussion of the Champions League game:
So Arsenal's loss is either going to, as Richard says, put some "self-doubt" into them, or (more likely) it's going to tick them off and cause them to take their anger out on Reading.
The travel back from Moscow midweek has to help Reading's chances, though.

I dont think that one mtach I watched on FSC was on because of Wigan. ;)

With Americans on 8 teams in the EPL it would be hard to avoid a game with Americans in it. However, looking at the FSC schedule for the next few weeks, Reading does seem to get more than it's fair share of games televised here. Over the next 5 weeks Reading is on 3 times compared to 3 appearances for Man City and Fulham combined.

No love for Wigan! Come on now! That's harsh
It is hard to determine what FSC's stratagy is when it is deciding who gets on. I'm sure part of it is that Setenta Sports North America has rights to some of these games as well.

I think Reading is on a bunch because they are a new and exciting addition to the EPL. I think a BIG part of the draw is Bobby Convey. As opposed to Man City and Fulham, Reading has a player that many Yanks fans project as being a HUGE part of the USMNT moving forward. (could argue Beasley... but not in his current form)
Reading is scrappy!!
