Since we have nothing better to do, thought we might periodically keep tabs on where former Tampa Bay players are now. I will start the ball rolling with my favourite Scot who wore the Green and Gold, John Gorman. He was an Allstar defender for the Rowdies. Is the only Rowdie who comes to mind who has a decent coaching career since.
He apparently is good friends with Glenn Hoddle, having been his assistant at Swindon Town in the EPL a few years back. John took over the manager role when Glenn moved on, but like alot of smaller clubs they soon were relegated and Gallopin' Gorman was sacked. Since then he has been on Hoddle's staff with the English FA and now Tottenham.
He seems to keep in touch with some old Rowdies mates, having set up Devin Barclay's training stint with Spurs when Perry Van Der Beck was coach of Mutiny.
So post the whereabouts of our former players, regardless if they work in soccer or not.

Who is coaching the Sidekicks this upcoming season? Tatu or Gordon. I believe they have gone back and forth over the past few seasons.

I may be wrong here, but didn't Rodney Marsh play for the Rowdies!? When I was a young kid,a teacher of mine went over to the States & brought me back a Rowdies shirt, must have been c1975.I'm
sure it was 'cos Rodney had been at City & I was a big fan of his. He's now on Sky (cable) Sports over here, doing EPL analysis.

Rodney was the biggest name to ever play for the Rowdies, but I think Bluesfan is looking for former players that are now coaching. Rodney was also the Head Coach for the Rowdies after his playing days were over.

Thanks for the info efernandez. I don't speak Spanish and was not able to determine Babington's most recent employment. It did not require much to realize that he is 'well travelled' as the phrase goes.

Sure did - and I even have pictures of him from WAY back then. Showed them to him at a Crew game one day.....it was great! It was during his "hippie" days.

Jim is indeed Julie's Dad. If remember right, Julie is a forward and Jim was a defender (aren't all Scottish players defenders?). Jim has managed a couple of SPL sides as well, but the SFA job is by far his best gig ever.

No ************!! You learn something new everyday. I guess it must run in the family, because Fleeting was scoring goals left and right for the Spirit. IMHO she's going to be amajor factor next year in the league.

Frankie Hejduk- Though he no longer is at Leverkusen, he is still listed on their website. He is now playing in Switzerland. The Leverkusen website bio lists Frankie as single. Does that mean that Frankie and Kim divorced?
