Over the past 12 games, we've been as putrid as any team in MLS history. Even the Scum can laugh at us now.

Time for Nowak to go. It's obvious he's been found out by MLS and we don't have the players in the right positions to succeed.

Did the wife give you a Philly Barn Burner (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Philadelphia+Barn+Burner) this morning?

I am very close to jumping on this bus... close, like I am standing at the stop closely reading the schedule... that close...

If:
We are eliminated under any circumstances to New York
We get our asses kicked in the Conference Final and play as badly as we did this season down the stretch or in last season's Conference Final.

Then Nowak must go... Sorry, we expected more and he didn't learn from his mistakes last season.

It scares me that you know what a Philly Barn Burner is.

The club could save some coin here - hire a coach, get an on-the-field color commentator to go with it!

(Since, AFKM will steal Dave Johnson and Garth Lagerway in the offseason to complete their Civil War Chess Set of former United people.)

I don't think there's any chance left in him being hired away to coach the USMNT.

I'm not sure it's zero chance, but a lot of people would have to say no first.

I agree I mean how many bad passes or missed shots/assignments did Piotr have last night....oh yeah none. Piotr wasn't teh one standing around letting Jaqua score uncontested, I'm sure Piotr is doing his job, but other then Gomez no one on the pitch looks interested in doing anything. The players deserve teh blame a lot more then Piotr.

god wtf has happened... I actually am almost with sachin on this... I can't believe I'm admitting to it, but as said above alot was expected of this team and season, I just hope they can live up to it over the next few games. A few big questions hold me back from jumping on this bandwagon. Who would we get? Who out there, is legitmatly better? Would KP be this drastic? (I don't think so) Would the team (saying that we do drop out early this year) be any better by this move? I really can't be sure about any of these, and barring that someone like Kilnsman comes along, I don't see Novak leaving. KP would not throw out a coach with the credentials of a Cup, and Shield in 3 seasons. I mean hey, next to Arena, Nowak is the best coach in DCU history, we have to put this in persepective now, sit back, and trust they get their shit togeather for the next series.

yes, this is true, but who's job is it to keep the players motivated, and focused...? There seems of late to be a definate lack of this, from PN.

Could you be a little more specific.

Could you be a little more specific.

I'll be specific... Our two biggest problems is a lack of size in the center of our midfield and the lack of a tough intimidating player anywhere on our roster to make the opposition think twice about kicking our guys across the park.

Chicago's size and athleticism dominated our two defensive midfielders (Olsen, Carroll) yesterday, winning every loose ball and easily corralling every ball in the air.

While it's true, that unlike some (most?) MLS teams, we actually try to play attractive soccer keeping the ball on the ground, it doesn't mean that we can just surrender the center of the field as easily as we currently do with two ballwinners who stand 5 foot 8 at most. We need just a little size, we don't need to look like a bad college team with all beef and no skill, like in any balanced diet, you need some meat with the vegetables. We're lacking the meat.

And with regards to toughness, in 2004 we had Nelsen and Dema who, it's safe to say, made a lot people think twice before hauling down our guys repeatedly. Now teams, especially NE and Chicago, haul down our guys time and time again with impunity. Every team in MLS needs a toughguy, a bodyguard. We don't have one, and it's cost us.
