I notice most people are not really giving juventus a chance against Barcelona. I may be biased on this topic but Juve is looking pretty good right now with Nedved and Trezeguet in great form not only in seria A but internationally. Not to mention there top player and inspirational leader Del Piero is returning from injury. I know we could talk on and on about this and nothing matters until the final whistle blows but what do you guys think about this?

I personally think Juventus will beat them, bias aside, simply because Juve are solid in all areas of the pitch. I know English/Man U fans will disagree :p but Juventus's defence is very tight whereas Barcelona's can be caught out, as shown in La Liga virtually all season long.

La Liga Barcelona and Champion's League Barcelona are like two different teams though.

I have my feelings mixed, as you notice in my preferred teams, but given FCB's form as of late I think they will win the series.
A couple of comments:
kid, Nedved and Trezeguet are "touched" after their respective performances with their NTs, the derby against "El Toro" might affect them
jawz, I know ManU trashed the bianconeris but remember Depor put them on trouble too! spanish teams are a head ache for italian teams!
juice you're a knowledgeable poster! :D

Tell that to Valencia and Depor. Barcelona are good no doubt, but I just don't see how they will deal with Nedved's runs and Trezeguet's prescence in the box.

I agree about those spanish teams, actually you're right about the czech and the french but the blaugrana defense has improved a lot after Radomir Antic's arrival allowing only 5 goals in eleven matches

Juventus will tear those catalonian bastards to shreads. Barca basically has their entire season riding on their CL performance, and even with that, I still think Juventus will take it. CL finals, Juve-AC Milan, best final ever.

Yeah Juventus actually does have an incredibly solid defense. Although nothing can justify the horrid performance Conte and Ferrara put on against Man Yoo, I trust that everyone has bad days and that one was the worst ever for those two. Normally, that defense is impenetrable, and I think they'll prove it against Barca.

I have seen Barça play in the league and against European opposition and I doubt they can beat Juve. But I still give them a chance.

I don't think Barça will go through either, I hope they will though.

In the worst case scenario its a win win situation for me :D seriously though, Im pretty confident about the spaniards to have a derby español in semis (BTW its wrong to say derby but still) so it will be revenge against real too! however, and I mentioned this in the Barça forum, if ManU beats Real Im almost sure nobody will prevent them to win the Cup! the final will be played in Manchester, its extramotivation!

I put the jinx on Nedved and Trezegeut as they have both picked up injuries in the Torino derby...will Del Piero and Trez ever get to play together again for an extended period?? I guess Nedved will be fit for Barca but Trez is doubtful. Zalayeta will have to fill some big shoes. Saviola worries me, he is in great form.

Barca has been perfect in the CL so far, so it's hard NOT to bet against them.
