This is the Monday game.

Looks like a lot of the injury crisis is over, though not all are quite ready to come back. And Lisbie is not out for an extended period with a shoulder injury. Figures, he was just getting good playing as a winger.

My lineup would be:

Carson
Young - Diawara - El K - HH
Ambrose - Faye - Pouso - Reid
D. Bent - JFH

Subs: Andersen, Kishishev, Rommedahl, Thomas, M. Bent

If ever there was an early season must win, I think this is almost it. If we don't get a least a point, it will not kill us, but we have to start getting what we can from each match. It's time to break the Cottage curse. They have some quality in places, but we can beat Cookies' boys.

Go Addicks!

This should be a nice match to listen to while at work today in Kansas City. I hope my work doesn't get in the way.

Sky Sports predicting a 2-0 win for Fulham. I don't think so. The Addicks will definitely get on the scoresheet today. If Fulham gets two, then I think Charlton Athletic gets two at least.

I'm looking for a 3-2 victory. Go Addicks!

Here are the lineups:

Charlton:
Carson
Young, Diawara, El Karkouri, Hreidarsson
Rommedahl, Faye, Hughes, Reid
Hasselbaink, D Bent

Subs: Myhre, Fortune, Holland, Thomas, M Bent

Fulham: Niemi; Rosenior, Queudrue, Knight, Pearce; Brown, Diop, Routledge, Radzinski; Helguson, McBride

Subs: Lastuvka, Volz, Bocanegra, Jensen, John

It's nice to see Thomas listed among the subs. But where is Kishishev? Why is Hughes starting? Holland on the bench? Fortune on the bench? Where's Pouso? Ambrose?

Fulham's lineup is very attacking with Helguson, McBride, Routledge.

I think we can attack their defense as well as they can attack ours. Wish I could watch this. The play between Faye and Diop will be very interesting.

Go Addicks!

Hartley, care to share the audio link to match? I'd love to be able to let the match get in the way of my work today as well.

Anyone getting the online radio link to work? I am not at this time and very frustrated. It better be on. I have waited all day to get to listen.

Mmmmmmm!

It did start working after the first few mintues of the match.

Neither team really playing well.

El K already carded and playing terribly. Bring on Fortune. I guess that's why ID had Jonathan on the bench.

Seems Bent and JFH are working well apart, but can't team up.

So, if we don't get better, bring on Thomas and take off JFH. Go 4-5-1 sort of with Jerome teaming with Darren up top really.

C'mon you Addicks!

Reid can't seem to get his corners high or deep enough.

Can Dennis not take corners? It's not like Rommedahl will be soaring for headers in the mixer. Or dropping into a defensive position for the set piece.

Or how about Hughes?

Okay. I've got it. Take Hughes off and bring on Thomas to fill that spot.

And take El K off, putting Fortune on the field.

Hughes sounds lost in the attack.

Rommedahl is really playing well.

If only Charlton could do something with their corners. We need Jerome on to make something of our set pieces.

I wonder if Dennis is thinking of staying now that he is becoming the menace that we all have known he could be. You want counter attack, get Dennis the ball quick and let him run. Run, Dennis, run!

Halftime. 0 - 0.

Charlton starting to get things going just before the end of the half. Let's hope we come out strong to start and get things going.

I think JFH is getting in the way up top. Take him off.

HH takes one in the, well, you know, for the club. Then JFH handles the ball without it being called. Must have been sympathy for Her-mann.

Fulham is starting swiftly. Charlton -- not so much.

C'mon Addicks! Let's get it going. Find Dennis and let him run.

Hughes sends it in. Reid lets it slip off his head and it goes wide.

Again, close but no goal. Frustrating.

Dennis the menace still working hard.

Bring on Thomas, then we can attack from both sides of the field.

Jensen on for Helguson and Claus is making some things happen already.

JFH needs to come off. He's coming back, but fouling. Bring on Thomas. Let Hughes mark Jensen. Make Thomas the playmaker in the middle.

Fulham taking it to us.

Reid huffing and puffing.

McBride gets another shot and scores.

Fulham take the lead.

Now the Addicks must fight to gain a draw. ID needs to make a couple of substitutions.

Claus Jensen doubles the Fulham advantage. Our defenders falling asleep. Terrible.

Now, I DO fear relegation.

We need someone to take the lead on the field. It ain't JFH. This is truly, truly terrible. ID may be the one leaving, even before January.

I had to step away for a few minutes.

I see Thomas and M. Bent have come on. But it's too late.

ID has lost another one.

A late flurry from the Addicks only earns a goal.

Fulham time, oh, I mean, full time, Fulham 2 - 1 Charlton Athletic.

Are we all ready to root for a Coca-Cola team next year? Or will some of us switch teams.
