Newcastle United v Bolton Wanderers, (http://www.premierleague.com/fapl.rac?command=setSelectedId&nextPage=enNewsLatest&id=1451214&type=com.fapl.website.news.NewsItem&categoryCode=NewsSpecialFeatures) Sunday 4pm, live on Sky Sports (11am FSC in the USA)
Referee: Alan Wiley
Bolton have never beaten Newcastle at St James' Park in seven Premier League attempts, and only once have come away from Tyneside with even a point to show for their efforts. However, with Kevin Davies, El-Hadji Diouf and Stelios Giannakopoulos potentially in the line-up, they may be hopeful of a first win as the trio have each scored twice against the Magpies over the last four encounters. The Trotters have won three and drawn one of their last four games, while Glenn Roeder's men have claimed just one victory and one draw in their last six matches.

The Mags absolutely need to get a result, and despite the lads' general struggles they've generally come good with their backs against the wall. 2-1 Newcastle.

a completely physical match.
Blind faith, loyalty and good heaping of TPS leads me to predict 2-1 Mags with a red card for Babayaro thrown in for good measure...

Is it just me or does Emre always take a long time to recover from a knock?

Emre has been run into twice and both times went down like his knee was broke. Other than that he has been putting good pressure on and has some good passing and runs.
I am watching on FSC.

Ramage just missed a great open goal chance. We are piling on the pressure and greating create chances.

Newcastle with all the attack in the first.
A lull from about the 25' - 35'. Emre had taken a knock and play was listless, but then Bolton had their only chances of the half. Newcastle responded well, attacking up the left, but Ramage knocked a sitter into row Z in the 39'. He was standing just outside the 6 yard box.
43' yellow for Solano fouling Speed.
Bolton has looked weak in the midfield and shaky on defense. Ameobi had a couple of situations where he went over with no call. Hunt and Ben Haim have been worked over by Ramage, Duff and Emre. Solano and Carr are doing well on the right as well. Questions will be asked in the second half by Bolton, for sure. Is this to be a repeat of the West Ham game, or the Fulham game? At any rate, don't sub out Parker or Emre. I think we've learned that's always a bad move.
Thx,
Jay!

First minute of the second half, Martins lashed a shot on goal that Jussi saved.
At least they've come out attacking.
Go on you Mags!
Thx,
Jay!
