Thought I'd post this just in case any other Army folks were looking for a good knife.

Hey what kind of knife did you have at the tailgate last time? I really liked how small and thin it is. I'm looking to get one for general everyday use.

I got it as a gift from my college roommate and hunting buddy when I was in his wedding. It's held up pretty good over 10 years.
It's a K.I.S.S. 5510 knife (ed halligan engineered), by CRKT. It's only sharp on one side, so the blade is exposed but flat against the handle, easier to flip out and close one-handed.

I cannot speak for/against the quality/rep of thebladeshop.com - never used them, just had a good pic and description of the knife.
I think they make one even smaller now. I'll have it out at the tailgate again, as apparently I'm going to be doing a bit of cooking.
