Well, I can't really think of a better situation to be playing Chelsea in. They have a lot of players playing internationals and then they have a game against Barcelona on Wednesday. So they may be overlooking Reading.

Just like ManU had a CL game right after our match with them. If we can pull a draw that would be a great result. My biggest concern is Seol's fitness. Sounds like he got hacked on quite a bit in the Syria match.

Although I'm worried about SEOL's fitness as well. Players usually fall into injuries with lengthly travelling caused by accumulated playing time across timezones. Good thing that Seol is a brick and I'm sure he'll fight the fatigue and shake off all the niggling injuries.

Heard that Reading's Asst. Manager said if SEOL still has both of his legs, he will still start against Chelsea.

He's going to have to rest at some point, either strategically or because of injury. He didn't take a full break after the cup this summer, even. He's a rock. I love him. But I'd rather give him a couple weeks off and have him for 36 games than watch him go down and suffer along without him for two months.

I wish I shared the optimism I'm seeing here. I really don't like Joe Cole frothing at the mouth to play this game, or Cech talking about how much he's been impressed by Reading, or the fact that copps jsut won the mananger of the month deal. Too much attention being paid to fly under the radar.
But, Reading will be organized, and play as one, and that is going to cause problems for chelsea, who still aren't a team but a bunch of really, really talented individuals. They're missing ash cole, and they're looking ahead to Barca, and they're tired and disjointed...

Yes, I agree. Against Chelsea you would be better off with more defensive minded players rather than SEOL, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad of an idea resting him for this one. I heard that Doyle will be missed and Little as well. :(

Against Arsenal I'd probably rest Seol. Mostly because I don't see that game resulting in anything but a rather lopsided loss, pretty much no matter what. Give Little a game then, maybe make him a little happier.

I'll go 2-1 Chelsea. 1-1 late in the game, but one of these games it has to come back to bite us when the all out defending and kick the ball really far tactics come out trying to hold onto a result (doesn't it?). I think the best hope is that Lampard tries to do too much and kills Chelsea (he's said that he's very "determined and hungry" after being criticized for playing poorly lately).
