Okay, I'm trying to figure out what PDA to get. I'd like something that is under $200, but I can go up to three. I don't need anthing fancy, or even internet connection. I do want something that will accept any Word, PowerPoint, video (all types, but usually MPEG, MPG, or .avi).

I am a teacher, and it is something that I would like to be able to take to various meetings and pull up information. If it is internet capable, that would be cool, but definatly not a must. I do want something that will last me a few years.

Of course, I am assuming it will have an mp3 player.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Honestly I don't know much about PDAs, but a couple of years ago when I was thinking about getting one (I ended up deciding not to), I was looking around here for info: http://www.brighthand.com/

There are reviews as well as a forum for asking questions.

I bought a Palm T/X. I love it. Does everything you said.

How long ago. I've been come across several user reviews that say Palms are good and then at about the 10-12 month time frame they crap out - though I admit I haven't seen any specifically on the T/X.
