Two youth players, Yang Changpeng and Zhou Liaota, from Wuhan Guanggu will train with Bolton for three weeks. However, both players are a long ways away from acquiring Work Permits. Bolton has a footballing relationship with Wuhan.
Yang Changpeng, a 17 year old striker, is taller than Peter Crouch.

Any updates or information regarding their trials would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

They won't require work permits to join the academy. It only becomes a problem when they try to work in this country.
Funny how we can sign youth players from China but not from Newcastle...

So I wasn't sure whether or not that was a joke (the player didn't look remarkably tall in the picture, but then there was hardly any context), but it turns out Yang is indeed more than an inch taller than Crouch... apparently has played for China U-20.

Does he have the physical attributes to compliment his hieght?Yang Changpeng is listed at 81kg. So I guess he's less gangly than Crouch.
