Ill go for Drogba.
This much maligned player has turned in some super performances so far for Chelsea this season. People lambast him for having poor techinque but all of Chelsea's attacking players, bar Lampard, suffer from Chelsea's cautious style and from playing agiant sides who just sit deep and plug gaps in their own half.
He is completley outshining Shevchenko, Robben is still yet to rediscover his flying form of seasons past and SWP just isnt good enough. From both an attacking and defensive point of view Drogba is a key player in their side.
Big up the Drog for not leting the doubters get him down!

I agree. Drogba has played really well so for this season. You are right to say he has been good from a denfensive point of view as well. I hope he continues this form.
Then i'd say Ronaldo, then Fabragas, then Essien.

That'll be Andrew ********ing Johnson! now...he's taken the 'Andy Cole' route of wishing to be called by his full name.
'AJ' for me, and he's certainly up there with the best, as I thought he would be to be honest - great little striker.

Drogba has been the best player, but Gabriel Agbonlahor is beginning to make a name for himself. His spectacular goal against Charlton was just that and his goal against Chelsea enabled the Villains to tie with what should be considered the best team in the EPL right now. Agbonlahor is beginning to break out and if he can continue to play at this level he will be a legitimate star by the end of the season.

He may not be scoring a lot of goals or whatnot, but to me the man playing the best football is Rosicky.

No, it just makes him short listed for the Balon D'Or, along with what, 30 other players?

Since no player from my team is stepping up, I would have to say Drogba as well. Even with the pressure of Sheva's signing and criticism from past years he is performing well in both the league and the CL.

Giggs of course. MU have won every match that he has been involved in.
