I don't know if any of you caught this during the Sport TV broadcast, but Dwight said the Crew is now a sponsor of the Blue Jackets. Pretty good deal, it would seem. Exposing the 18,136 the CBJ bring in for every game, plus radio/TV audiences. Depending on what all they got for this deal, it could really pay off big for the Crew.

The Jackets and the Crew have a good relationship. They work together not against each other. Looks like Hunt and McConnell have worked out their problems.

It's about time it's official. Not sure of the cross over...but it's certainly young male...with money.

hopefully this isn't cross-promotion. I really don't wanna see Stinger at CCS.

Perhaps but I'll bet they would get just as many jeers as they do at CCS.

Has anybody out there heard any of the details regarding this sponsorship? I'm curious to know what exactly is involved, how this best benefits the Crew, etc.

perhaps this sponsorship will allow the Blue Jackets and Crew to do cross-promotional work.

here we go...
from the BlueJackets ebeat email newsletter.
Come out to Crew Stadium next Wednesday, August 14 for Blue Jackets Night as the Crew battles the Los Angeles Galaxy at 7:30 p.m. Before the game, fans will have a chance to meet Blue Jackets players and broadcasters and take home lots of free Blue Jackets memorabilia.

Perhaps the halftime entertainment will be some Blue Jacket players in a Brat-eating contest....
...anything would be better than the alleged dance troupe.

I hope the final is better than the exhibition at the last home match...the contest was so bad that it wasn't even funny.
