Is there any way to ignore posts (without the premium ' upgrade membership')? It's either that or I am going to go postal and start flaunting rules of the forum re chubby22 or whatever the f*****t's name is.

Sadly it is a premium member option. If you want to try to get that changed, then a thread on the customer service forum might be a good start.
