It depends what games you want to see. The popular ones will almost certainly be impossible to obtain tickets for from conventional means, so you'll have to rely on touts. You'll be able to get tickets for any game, it just depends how much you are prepared to pay.

I'm going to try to get there for a week and just pick some games based on the cities I want to be in, rather than waiting to see which teams are where. Chances are I'll skip any games with Portugal since they'll be a tough ticket and their games have already been assigned. Besides them, I can't imagine getting first-round tickets in the online sales before the draw will be problematic. The real run on tickets will happen once teams are assigned to the games.
In another thread someone said to expect about $50 a seat.
Anyone have any advice on travel from the U.S.? Any feel for prices and when to try to buy? The airline industry is tough to read any more...
I'm debating whether it's best to fly into Madrid or Lisbon and then getting around by train once I'm there. Is it even reasonable to fly into London or Amsterdam and then do cheap air transfers within the continent? Any sites to check out as resources?
For hotels, I'm hoping to cash in points to cover a majority of the stay.

I think it was me that said they might be $50, but that was a guess at the most expensive they could be.I think that 35 Euros is a bargain considering most premiership games are about £25.
As for flights, how much is it to Lisbon from the states? The cheapest flight I have found so far is £120 (about $200) from London heathrow - lisbon. you could fly in and then go Luton- faro for about £50, but then you need a train from faro as they're only playing 3 games there.
If anyone finds any cheap flights to Lisbon or Porto from the uk please post them up.

i'm going, my parents live in Coimbra. Besides the Coimbra stadium, Leiria, Lisbon and Porto are a very short drive way. i'm gonna try to see one semifinal in the Antas stadium in Porto and the final in Luz stadium in Lisbon.
