yes, im a gunners fan:eek:

but no seriously what do you guys really think about having your Stating XI Switched 95Consecutive Times?

And if you had a Chose What your XI would be?

I think the reds shot therselfs in there own feet when they let Cisse out on a Loan but thats just me

Well..you're going to find a lot of people disagreeing with you on Cisse. I actually agree with you. I've always liked Cisse and I hope he'll be back next season.

Anyways, the constant rotation of the squad plays a large part in our inconsistency.

Be that as it may, there were quite a few signings over the break and it takes time to integrate them into the squad. It's not so much the rotation as it is the wrong players fielded sometimes by Rafa but he is a coach who likes to give every player a chance and believes in them.

I'd start this team personally:

----------------------Dudek--------------------

Finnan--------Carra------Agger---------Riise

Gerrard-----Alonso-----Momo--------Garcia/Gonzalez

--------------------------------Kuyt-----------

I don't have a problem with rotation. That 95-game spell equates to a European Cup, an FA Cup and a third-place finish last season that was statistically speaking 300% better than the season before.

People make too much of the issue, the media have been looking for a new "Tinkerman" since Ranieri was given the boot and now they're doing their best to make Benitez that man.

He's always picked a starting 11 specifically tailored to match the challenge posed by that week's opponents - and it's stood him in good stead. You might this season have a slight argument that he's messing with the back four a bit more than normal, but that's because we are now undeniably in the twilight of Hyypia's Liverpool career and we have to take the bull by the horns and play alternatives, including Agger and, ultimately, Palleta - otherwise they're a waste of money. Likewise, our left side has been a problem since before he got here and he now needs to use the likes of Riise, Warnock and Aurelio in ways that gets the best out of them and adds the maximum possible to whatever team and formation they are selected for. It's simply no longer the case that you can play the same back five week-in, week-out and hope to achieve the goals you set yourself. It's lazy to make consistency of performance synonimous with consistency of selection - the real achievement is being consistent despite a change on the teamsheet. Last season we did that very well for long spells; this season we have to do the same and more. It's not quite clicking at the moment, but there's no reason to believe it won't eventually do so.

A better question would have been.......

but no seriously what do you guys really think about Henry wanting to play for you instead of us bottlers?

After 2 broken legs, it had to be done. Though I would really like to see him back at Liverpool next season if he can stay healthy.

well, its never going to happen, isnt it?? Anfield is a great place to play in, and im sure many top players would gladly come here. The problem is that we dont have the money to go after TOP players, so we just have to get the players we can with the budget we have.

but mate, its not that henry wants to play more for us than you,i read the report and he said something like we were his second "option". If he wasnt a gunner he would have already left for barcelona, and you must love that comitment.

Still, when you consider that those 95 changes have brought us the Champions League, European Super Cup, FA Cup and FA Charity Shield, we ain't complaining, mate.

And if you had a Chose What your XI would be?
The one which Benitez starts each week ;)

I think the reds shot therselfs in there own feet when they let Cisse out on a Loan but thats just meCisse's a good player but he never really cut it for us. I reckon the £14 million tag weighed him down, too, as we expected more than he could ever deliver. You were always left with the feeling that he could have been success had he tried (like Henry did when he came from Juve) but he just didn't. More's the pity but that's the way the chips fall sometimes.

---------------------Sissoko-----------------------
--------Gerrard-------------------Xabi Alonso----
-------------------Luis Garcia---------------------
--------------Crouch--------Kuyt------------------

I think it's time we used Xabi Alonso in a more attacking role in midfield, with Sissoko taking over the defensive role. I like the idea of playing a diamond formation.

Suggestion for game #96, #97, #98...

---------------Reina---------------
Finnan----Carra-------Agger----Riise
Gerrard----Momo---Alonso----Gonzalez

--------1)Kuyt----Bellamy---
--------2)Kuyt----Crouch----

If Rafa run out of ideas, he can switch between Kuyt/Bellamy and Kuyt/Crouch so as to continue the legacy.

Sami Hypiaa is still miles better than agger imo, if not anyone elses. One wonder goal and hes out with the trash. hmm.

Miles more experienced...YES

Miles better technically and athletically...yes, but not by as many miles as some would like to think
