And now that we have added some bruisers to help us bring the cup home we're a problem. What about the bruiser lines Buffalo and Ottawa have? Cheating and stupidity? Where's the cheating Mr. Melrose? The fact we score more goals than the other team? And you can call us stupid if you like, but it really doesn't phase us when you shout such insults from your couches watching us in the playoffs.

I love the jealousy of people from real hockey towns. It's delicious.

absolutely. Thugs are players who can fight but have no skills. You know, the Ogie Ogilvy's. Cheating and stupidity are the realm of guys like May and Parros,(he has the hair, the guns and the 'stache, but no skills) who can't skate but can bruise and like to come up from across the ice and go 3rd man on ya,...from behind. :rolleyes:

BTW: great way to move the goal posts by saying: "..before this year" because you now admit you guys brought in the guns just to strong arm your way into the playoffs. Which is why you get zero respect from real hockey towns.

damn straight. If we had the spending, the egos and lack of tradition you clowns in the OC have we would have a much lower bar to skate over, and hence would be crushing our opposition as well.

BTW an invitaion is open for you to come out and watch real hockey boardside. I have tickets for what will surely be our triumphant crushing of you thugs next season...

The Ducks have gone to the Western Conference finals three of the last four seasons, and twice they advanced to the Cup Finals. You talk like they're some one-hit wonder who just showed up. Now I'm no Duck fan, but they deserve a little more credit than you give them.

Guys like Getzlaf, Perry and McDonald are breakout players to combine with the vet savvy of Selanne and Rob Niedermayer. Then you have brother Scott and Pronger on the back line, and a world-class goalie when he's right. Sure, they've got some rugged players like Penner and May, and Pronger throws out a cheap shot now and again, but what team doesn't? Except the Coyotes (my team), who suck in every way imaginable, but that's neither here nor there. They've been a good team for a while, and will be for a while yet. If you as a Wild fan don't like it, well...get better.
