A little late to start a tradition now, but a post game thread and pregame thread for the Cauldron would be useful I think.
That was easily the most full Cauldron of the year to me. Completely packed. Pretty good noise throughout I think because of sheer numbers, but not our best in terms of participation. Nick Garcia coming down into the Cauldron for a bit really energized the group I thought. Gave us a bit of a pickup.
What do we have in store for our next game. DA is coming with a lot of people. Rebecca might be bringing a keg?
I say we could also use a chant to mark our last game at Arrowhead.
Something about how we won't miss it one bit?:D

Here's to hoping that this weekend will only be our 2nd to last game at the 'Head.

We need to get ahold of Rebecca. If she's not doing a keg someone needs to.
Also, is anyone besides Jeff, Matt, Kim and I going to stop by BWW for at least a beer?

I thought overall we did really well but you were up higher so you had a different perspective. And yeah, Nick coming down kicked @$$. I have the pic of him standing between me and Pez tacked up in my cube now.
I've heard people talk about doing some stuff since it is our "last game at Arrowhead." I think a funny chant/song is great but some of the stuff I've heard could hurt us going forward since we might be leaving the stadium but not the current owners. Doing something stupid could give us a black eye from that perspective. </soapbox> That said...looking forward to a hell of a party Saturday. I'll be bringing the remaining 3 bottles of bubbly and probably some more of my home brew.

I dunno if somebody *needs* to... Sometimes it's nice to have people in the Cauldron participating instead of just being drunken dumbasses the whole game.
Back on topic, Rebecca was asked about it before the game on Saturday and it sounds like the keg is still on for this weekend.

Hey Jeff,
Was the cow bell loud enough on the "Bring Out Your Dead" chant? Wondered how sounded from up the section (or if it could even be heard).
No "more cow bell" comments.

Okay, then we definately need to get a larger cow bell. Ock will be precuring one during the off-season.

Just had a funny mental image of Oct sneaking through some farmer's field looking for a cowbell. :)
Oh and to stay ever-so-slightly on topic, I'm working on getting the tailgate for Saturday coordinated. I'll post the menu in the other thread and on the Cauldron site as soon as it is finalized.

I just wanted to say that I could hear the cauldron loud and clear quite a few times while I was watching the game on the computer. Great job on saturday.

Okay, I picked up 28 rolls of streamers last night (14 white, 14 blue). Each of these rolls will be re-rolled into 3 or 4 smaller rolls. So, that will give us between 60-80 streamers just from me.
fyi, the girls told me I am supposed to bring my apple-corer thingy to the tailgate for people to use to re-roll streamers. Not a problem.
I actually had a ball at the last game throwing those streamers up to people in the section, and across the tunnel.....it was a hoot.
