Interesting place to put this survey...but anyways...

My shooting is fine, my passing is strong, my tackling is fine my pace is above average. My off the ball-running and general footballing mind is good, but my main physical problem is trying to win the ball when you are next to your opponent and the ball is bouncing at an odd height...if you know what I mean?:o My biggest footballing problem however is trying to calm down...I get so stressed and nervous and my coach has told me that when i eventually relax in a game, I get 20% better.:o

Decision making. Give me the ball with time and no one on me, and I think too long and make the wrong decision or dwell on the ball too long and get it stripped. Give it to me with no space or time and a defender on my back and I deliver this class pass with flair that I can't even believe I've made. Happens all the time, every game. Like no pressure = I choose wrong, pressure = I make lovely passes with flair, like if I was Totti out there.

So you would be brilliant playing pressurised top-flight football then?;)

I have always been excellent at passing, holding the ball, playmaking, and creativity. A combination of DB10 and Kanu.. but, I am over 30yo now and consume quite alot of beer so my stamina is gone as is my pace. If I would have had a reason to stay fit... i.e. regular football in a proper league... I could have been a descent player. So, my problem is that there is no structure in the US sport like there is in Europe. Everyone seems to treat it as a childrens pastime and not a lifelong endevour.

Imagine. That'd be gnarly.

It really bothers me, screwing up on such easy things but doing well in the difficult ones. I know my problem too, and that just makes it worse when I'm looking to see what to do..I have the game on my mind + the "Don't screw up the easy shit!" thing as well.

i had a coach that had a no pressure defense and it made the other team unsure of how to score, cuz if someone is closing you down then logically someone is opening up.

OK, a bit off topic, but speaking of pressure...
This season our two coaches told us that we should have fun playing soccer, but still take it seriously. They said we must not stress as the whole point is to have fun.
Anyway, the season is now finished and we won our league, got promoted, and lost just one game and won all the others!
Pretty interesting...
