Can anyone out there recommend a pub in Boston to watch the Charlton game this Saturday? Somewhere downtown, close to Doubletree Hotel would be ideal. I am assuming this is downtown anyway. Thanking you!

I haven't been back to boston in a couple of years but last i heard that the best place left for matches was phoenix landing in central square in cambridge. No matter where you are you are not far from something in Boston/cambridge.

I was there in 2001 and watched several matches at the Plow and Star.

Lir is on Boylston Street across from the Hub. I was there after a Red Sox game last week and they had their Prem tv schedule posted. No idea about atmosphere though as I didn't see a match there. Seemed decent enough though and they had plenty of tvs.

There's a bar in Southie out on Broadway that shows it. I think it's the Blackthorn.

Better be Irish though.
