I mean, when he's really, really bad?

He's not born yet, though. I mean when he is born, should I beat him?

**MODERATORS NOTE** THIS TOPIC IS IN JEST. DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!!!

Why would you, are you worried you can't handle him otherwise?

The damage you can do to a child psychologically by beating him are much bigger than the damage you can do by not beating him. Up to you to decide but I personally don't believe in smacking children. When people say 'I never beat my child out of anger' I wonder what kind of a monster can beat their own children when calm.

Well, let's put it this way: I've lost a LOT of fights in my lifetime, and I'd really like to get my batting average back up to .500.

Then your son's going to be a **********, too.

Solution: When he's bad, don't "beat" him per se, but slap him around a bit and urge him to hit you back. Tell him you're not going to stop popping him until he gets a good shot in on you.

That way, you're being a strong disciplinarian while teaching him how to kick ass.

My mom.
My dad.
My grandfather.
My other grandfather.
My grandmother.
My other grandmother.
My uncle.
My uncle.
My uncle.
My uncle.
My uncle......

It took a village to beat my sorry ass.

That sounds like it will work.

Next question: I don't intend to read to my son, because I hate reading those stupid children's books. Which TV shows should I let him watch when he requires entertainment? I'm thinking something like Cheers or NYPD Blue.

You should at least wait until you're sure he really is your son. After all, you don't want to beat the mailman's kid.

Avove all, keep him away from children's tv shows. Most are psychologically damaging. Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry and alike teach your child he can be a ********ing little smart-ass without having to suffer consequences. I prefer shows where backtalk results in a backhand. Most cop shows embrace this kind of morality.

And if you have a little girl, let your wife take care of all that shit.

TV shows are too short. I'd have him watch rated r movies.

They have to be the right ones, though.

For instance, the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre is surprisingly free of blood. The sequels, though? Out of the question.

I think he'll learn alot form films such as Scarface, and Goodfellas. They'll teach him how to be tough and to earn money all at the same time.... I figure if he learns those lessons you'll be a proud poppa..

And make sure you hang this poster above your son's crib:

Use this

but don't take the cap off, just rap him in the forehead with it

It's ok, it's homeopathic so you don't need to remove the cap.

Teach them to hit father back?

If I raised my hand at my father he would gauge my eyes out with a rusty screwdriver.

I thought they whole sense in beating was to teach them right from wrong, and respect?
