Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything more about the Spain v Argentina friendly that is apparently going to be on 11th October in Barcelona?
I went to the Brasil game in London, and I’d love to see this game if its actually going to happen, but I think it might just be a rumour going round.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thank you for confirming that for me.
I think it should be a good game. Both teams kind of have something to prove, after their recent losses.
It will be interesting to see who Basile will call up this time.
I’d like to see Kun get a start. He didn’t really get a lot of playing time on he’s debut, just enough time to get booked! Lol!
Not sure what we’ll do about the Riquelme situation, maybe bring in Aimar, or push Messi back.

es mi primer "new topic" :o

I don't think Saviola should have been picked. Saviola has only played one game for Barcelona this year and is not improving by siting on the bench every game. I think Saviola is an idiot, why would you stay at a team that doesn't want you? In my opinion it was a terrible choice by Saviola to stay at Barcelona.

Saviola is still lethal in his finishing. Exactly the type of player we need to actually try to score some goals  A pity he is also quite short...

I know Saviola is good but we need players players that actually get a chance to play in games. I would take Palacio over Saviola any day.

I sent GolTV an email asking...and they showed the Arg Bra game, and if they have rights to the Spain NT, and they show La Liga a lot, so I would imagine it will be on Gol.

BTW, how did Rodolfo Arruabarrena get in the team. This guy is not good enough for NT, and where is Sorin. for god sake give J. Zanetti 1 game and the farewell he desservs.
as for the attacking option i will play Aguero infront of Tevez as Aguero is in form but Tevez is not yet in his best form.

Have you guys watch the World Cup? He was the best forward Argentina had!!! He definetly did better than Crespo and Tevez only started one game and Messi didn't play that much either. (both did good but Saviola was a bit better) Granted, not getting playing time in Barca will hurt him down the road, but as of right now I don't see how you can question him.

yeah, thats right, and also its just trying players out anyways, its what you learn from these early friendlied that counts.
Who do you think got more out of the brazil game?
Argentina was out to try new things and learn and get everything together.
Brazil on the other hand was out to kill and was playing for this "friendly" game
against the archrival, they didn't get anything out of that game in my opinion, they will not grow like that.
So try out arruabarrena and any new surprises maybe, I would also like to see Zanetti at least once more in the national team.

i dont know guys but tevez is not in his best form and he's been like that for a while now since last yr actually! but u never know what can happen i think its a good squad i hope Heinze plays as our left back, zabaleta right something like this would be good
Zabaleta------Ayala------Millito------Heinze
-------------------Mascherano
--------Maxi-----------------------Messi
---------------------Aimar
-------------Saviola------------Crespo
i dont know if messi fits there well but i think he should be given a chance to play anywhere in midfield! with aimar and maxi that would be a great midfield and as u can see most of the players are fast tempo players which is what basile likes and honestly i dont think Lucho, Mascherano will fit basile's type of football maybe Masche, Maxi or Lucho, Gago one fast one slow so they can balance it out :>
