I'd probably rather have Dennis O'Leary over David O'Leary anyway. My bad.

It seems that Ranieri might actually be interested....

I think tomorrow's game will have a lot to say about who is the next manager of Leeds United.

Glen Hoddle appears to be the new front runner. I'm not sure how I feel about that one.

That's bad. I really hope Hoddle's not coming to Elland Rd.

I have mixed feelings about this. I think Raneiri is a half-decent manager. But he is horrible if he has a large squad. He sunk Valencia because he couldn't keep a lineup week in and week out, and although he did well in his last season at Chelsea, it was the talent of the players that got the team to second in the league and to the CL. Again, he rotated players like crazy at Chelsea once he had a large squad and that rotation system hindered the players' ability to get comfortable in a role. Clearly Leeds don't have a large squad filled with exceptional talent so he might not be a bad hire. After all, he was a somewhat decent manager prior to Chelsea's transformation to Chelski. But as the tone of my message conveys, he is not the kind of manager that will get Leeds back to their successes under O'Leary. Take care.

Now it looks like we're talking to Dennis Wise.

Now who do we go with? I have a feeling that if Bates wanted Ranieri by now he would have signed him.

I'm surprised Leeds is looking for a new manager. I think that Carver has created a quality defensive shell that holds most teams below six goals. It's the strikers, and they're lack of ability to score seven goals a game, that's holding Leeds back.
Seriously, I'll take anybody who can get Leeds back to midtable. I've given up any hope of promotion and just care about survival. I think I've warmed up to Wise, especially if Gustavo Poyet comes with him.

well, Carver is out now.
David Geddis (reserve team coach) is now the caretaker manager.

Well then - there we have it. Wise and Poyet it will be. It has been sorted.
