Why do I get the feeling that you think we can't be champions this season? :D

Look at our our team and analyse it...we are an excellent team with or without Henry, Chelsea's team is just marginaly better because they got strength in depth, our team is better than the tinkering Liverpool and our team is better than Manchester United as we already proved.
Against the big teams away this year we will do very will IMO because infront of their own supporters they will come out and play against us and that leaves gaps at the back which the likes of Henry & Fabregas thrive on. We just need to keep all our players fit, which is harder than it sounds :(

Spurs on the other hand are facing a dip in form because they went and bought a lot new personal ad also lost their star player in M.Carrick, they just need to click and will do any time soon.

Unfortunatly I don't think spurs will get relegated...they will poison their opponents on the last day to stay up in the league.

Neither is likely to happen, but there's a very good chance that Tottnumb will finish out of the top 6 this year. Historically, 2nd tier teams that qualify for Europe don't make it back the next year. Last year they had an easy go of it, with almost no cup games and no European games. Now that they have to play a full schedule, I can easily see Sperz reverting to form and ending up back in midtable.

I think our lineup man for man is better than both Man United's and Liverpool's..

I think anything less than 2nd would be a dissapoint for The Arsenal..

Chelsea will unfortunately win the title again because Jose, as much as I hate to admit it, is a great coach and has his teams playing consistant football throughout the year..

If Arsenal can learn to finish off the minnows then I dont see a reason why we cant challenge for the title..

We also need to beat Chelsea at least once this year because we havent gotten a result against them in awile and I think once we get that result then our boys will know they can challenge for the title

I agree with what you say re Spu*s, but I honestly believe we will challenge for the title this season. We have the payers and the depth and the right squad.

And yet very few believe we can challenge for the title, which sometimes shocks me ..

ANd about Spurs, they do have loads of depth, but i dont think the rit players ..
I think they insist on quantity rather than quality .. :) ..

Quite honestly, I think it is more likely that we will finish outside the top 4 then that Spurs will finish in the bottom 3. Not that it is likely we will finish outside the top 4 (the odds are probably 1 in 999999999999999999999999999) but the odds that Spurs will finish in the bottom 3 is even less. They are indeed a bit less strong this season, but their recent performance is more down to the fact that they have been up against strong opponents (Bolton, Man U, Liverpool, Everton, ok they really should have won Fulham but at least they didn't lose) than that they are weak. There are no shortages of teams which I am sure will finish below Spurs this season, including SU, Watford, Boro, Man City (yes, it's a huge disgrace that we lost to them), Wigan, Charlton and Reading. They will be getting the results sooner rather than later.

Having said that I like the odds of us finishing in the top 2. I am very confident of us finishing above Man U, who is likely to struggle with a soft belly, and I am not confident of us finishing above Chelsea, so our main competitor will be Liverpool. Even though they have improved a lot this season I do feel that as long as Henry starts firing his goals we are at least as strong as them. Our defense has improved significantly with Gallas, Eboue and Djourou playing and Cesc is going to be more ready this time. The key to how well we will perform will be from the wings (I am still very concern that Hleb and Rosicky are more suitable as central midfielders and are not providing us with width) and how well Henry and his partners perform. We need to start scoring goals like crazy and stop struggling the way we did for the early part of the SU game.

I agree with you. My biggest concern this season is how each forward will click with Henry. With Bergkamp now gone, its hard to look at anyone in our lineup and say "He and Thierry really look brilliant up top together"..it just hasnt happened..

As much as I love van Persie, he really doesn't play well with Henry and I'm hoping this season they can find each other and work well together..because if not..it could turn into a problem..

Henry needs to stop his whining on the pitch and needs to improve his body language because he looks like a premaddona on the field and no one appreciates that. He should be more positive out there..hes the CAPTAIN!!

I think our wing mids are playing great besides maybe Ljungberg who looks a little rusty.. I'd like to see Cesc rested a few games and put Rosicky in that attacking mid position that he plays for the Czech Republic..he is a hell of an attacking mid and is quickly becoming my favorite player to watch on The Arsenal

I misspoke, there's actually no reason why we can't take second. I could see us challenging for the title, but i can't see us winning it. Chelsea is just too consistent.
