I was watching the Newcastle/Everton match yesterday on FSC. Then later highlites of the same match on Sky Sports News.
The match had different announcers than who was on the clip on Sky Sports News highlites. Martin Tyler and his usual partner were on the clip - someone else did the match on FSC.
What's the deal on that?

I believe that the Sunday 11:00am matches are televised on Sky in the UK, so what you heard was the Sky announcers.

FSC airs the international feed, so that's who you heard.

Many announcers, Martin Tyler included, do both (but not for the same match obviously).

I thought most -- if not all -- EPL highlights were blacked out on Sky Sports News on FSC, and instead they seem to patch in footage of the postgame handshakes, etc. (Perhaps the Sunday late game is the exception because it's on Sky already). Did you perhaps hear the different announcers on the EPL Week in Review show right after Sky Sports News? If so, that'd be because that show is produced by an entirely different company -- TWI, which I believe is responsible for the international feed, as well. Please correct me anywhere I'm wrong.

blacked out on Sky Sports News on FSC

I'm pretty sure the one hour segment is not censored for American audiences. That's the real show as seen in the UK, only its an hour late. Trust me, Skysports News did not do extra work to put its show on FSC. :D

The highlights to non-Sky games are generally restricted to the BBC until the day after they are played.

Similar rules for the Championship, however, there may not be an ITV highlights show for midweek games. In that case, Sky can show the highlights that night.
