Davies due to be back in between performances or Phantom of the Opera.
Anelka to score a Premiership goal finally?
For me this may be our game. Portsmouth's luck needs to run out at some time and what better time than against us? ;) Sadly though our record at Fratton Park is poor. I'd take a draw if it was offered to me now.

Pompey look great because they've played mediocre sides thus far. If they had this run in February people would politely clap and nod. As its happening during the first month, they're atop the EPL and people are making a big deal of it. I think you'll take a point. That and I've gotten used to seeing our name at the top of the Premiership - I prefer to keep it that way! :p ;)

Maybe we can do you a favour tonight then.
We're playing shite but we're still in a good position, we need to wake up and start putting the performances in. Anekla and Davies... a dream strikerforce ;)

Its too bad Anelka lost his speed - he used to be fun to watch. And to follow in the papers. And I'd love another favor - you already let us win the league on your pitch once. ;)

Borgetti syndrome.
You didn't honeslty think he was coming here as a first team regular did you?

No, though he replaced Anelka with 10 minutes left.

1-0 FT Whites win through a Nobby Nolano goal. Resolute defending throughout and some good saves by Jussi. An excellent smash and grab raid against a good side.

Not at all, but he shoulda been on the bench at least.

Maybe so but there is probably a reason for it. Looking at the starting 11 there there were numerous players who could play the D-mid role but defenders were a bit thin on the ground. In fact the only defender we have left was on the bench and has not played a first team game for the Wanderers, the rest were attacking options. It seems to be a pretty balanced bench all things considered. There was no need for Teymourian to be on the bench because we were already covered by the first team.

very good result...
each players gives 110%
why was ben-haim playing left back???
i assume because of gardners injury.....when is he coming back??
faye will probably be back on the bench
meite is playing very well and ben-haim is an excellant defender and very consistant
i think idan tal should get to start........hes done very well off the bench

----------------Anelka------------------
----------------------Davies (Stelios)----
Tal-----Speed (Campo)----Nolan-------Diouf
Gardner (?)----Ben-Haim---Meite-----Hunt
