My missus & I are in Vancouver this week. We'd like to watch the Charlton-Arsenal match on Saturday at a football-friendly pub. Game is at 7am Pacific time. Any recommended places are appreciated!

While you're at it, I'm going to be in Whistler/Vancouver in January. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

remind me next week or PM me. I did find a place called Dover Arms Pub, I am going to call when I get there on Wednesday. I also found this listing here, if anyone knows if any of these places will be showing the game it would be appreciated!

I'm partial to the Frog and Firkin (http://www.frogandfirkin.com) on Broadway, as they're about the only pub in the province that actually has Setanta. The Dover Arms is decent, as well.

The Soho Bar & Grill used to be the Fox and Firkin, which was my favorite. Some vestiges of former glory remain, and occasionally footy still shows there, but it's gone a bit yuppie for my liking.

Did you ask anyone from Arsenal Canada? Supinder Babra may know some places. Check his website @ http://www.babra.ca
