Hi,

Could one of you be so kind as to point me towards a late 1920s map of Persia. I'm reading up on the early 20th century history of Persia, and I'm confused by some geographic references at times. A map of Persia at the beginning of the Pahlavi dynasty might prove helpfull. But so far, I have no luck finding anything online.

Thanks, BG

Heres couple of links. This book appears to be the best!
Asia Minor Maps (http://ancienthistory.about.com/cs/aneancientmaps/a/asiaminormaps.htm)
Publication of Old Maps of Persia (Iran) in The Netherlands (http://www.payvand.com/news/06/mar/1212.html)
Can't find anything here.
http://persia.org/imagemap/imagemap.html
Maps of the Persian World (http://www.calacademy.org/research/anthropology/persia/maps.htm)
Or even better!

Iran's territory hasn't changed much since 1920's, Bahrain was the only notable territory taken from Iran since then. Otherwise, most of Iran's territory (All of Caucasus and Central Asia) was lost during 1800's thanks to the the incompetent Qajar dynasty.
