Exactly my thought ALTHOUGH Rafa is known to rotate and not start the same eleven two games in a row....there might be a few alterations....maybe Garcia starting over Gonzalez and Crouch partnering Kuyt. Other than that, our backline is looking sharp again. Two clean sheets in the league are great and another one in the Cl would certainly set the course!

Now....a way to get out of academic responsibilities to catch the game....

Pennant (if healthy, otherwise, Warnock or Zenden)

I'd like to see Crouch and Kuyt together. Bellamy looks like he could use a break before the next two matches against Bolton and Blackburn.

I think garcia needs to get more playing time, he's a spark when he comes on, always seems to create chances, god love him!
Like to see stevie come in more as he did in the second half against spurs, that also got us moving forward better.
Will bellamy ever score??? I think he might rival crouch's dry streak from last season........
Gonzales was man of the match for me against spurs, i think he is coming along nicely indeed.

I agree, but im sure well also see carragher and hyypia in CB, and either Gerrard or Alonso will be respted for Pennant or Zenden.

Gonna be a tougher game than a lot of people think. I don't know why, in this day and age that people tend to dismiss Turkish teams. They have some world class players.

I like a lot of those line up mixes but I'm with LB on his choice here. It ain't broke!!!

six players for Galatasaray are not Turkish, including the very famous former Red, Rigoberto Song. i just hope he's forgotten the rub of the green at Anfield...;)

at least half of them are in the starting 11.

I fixed your lineup!! I do think that Zenden will slot in there somewhere as well- knowing Rafa as well as I do from down here!!! ;)

A few people have asked, but I've yet to read an answer (if anyone knows).

Where is Robbie Fowler? He's not been in the news or on the bench for the last four/five matches?

Fully fit -- in the NBA he'd be scored as "did not play coach's decision"

Huh, interesting. Well, as long as we're winning, I suppose.

Wonder how much longer he keeps starting Bellamy without any goals before he gives him a chance? Now, I'm not saying he should or attacking the decisions or what not, just observing that Bellamy hasn't scored in eight matches.

I posted earlier that until Bellamy scores some goals he's no better than Baros or Cisse. Pacy with little or no pay off. I like Kuijt tho!

I don't see how there is anyway Riise is on the bench for this one. The team is just that much better with him in the lineup.

Agreed. Riise is my favorite player. He brings an entirely different element to the attack, one that opponents have to respect.
