I hadn't even put 2 and 2 together (I'm much better at knowing when Yom Kippur is). I'm probably going to tape it. Perhaps you can do the same?

Thankfully, I'm only half-Jewish, meaning I only have to observe half of the holiday. :D

Why can people not watch the game because of a Jewish holiday? I'm confused here.

Ah, OK. I'm not particularly religious, but having been brought up Catholic, the games are scheduled around Christian holidays to a certain extent, like the games at Christmas and Easter.

Why would god create the perfection that is the Arsenal passing game, and then tell you to not watch it?

LOL......L'Shana Tova!
I love how my rabbi gave a massive guilt trip to the tons of Jews who just showed up for the High Holidays when we live in the best country on Earth for religious freedom, plus being such a small Jewish community:
4,000 Jews in a the Toledo metro area out of over 500,000 people.
We only have 3 synagogues.
