Yeah they sold the club grounds on Colomos and Lopez Mateos, if you are familiar with the city. They rarely practiced there anymore, though I think Tapatio might have played home games there this year. I wonder what they'll do with the trophy room.

It didn't make much sense keeping the property, as it is prime real estate. I hope they reinvest it in other practice grounds and fuerzas inferiores. That property is worth a lot of money.

I can see how former/current players and club members may miss the club more, but fans will probably miss going to the stadium more. I used to watch open practices at the club, but my most vivid memories are from watching them win big games at the Jalisco.

If Chivas were sold to a New owner, I would doubt very much the new owners would move them from Guadalajara.

Let me tell you my story:
My uncle was the president of club Guadalajara back when the team was being rented to mexlub, everyone in the team were just trying to save as much money as possible to resieve te team, and buy players, etc.
My uncle left the Club after 4 years with enough money for 4 seasons, and that sucker that is talking about demandas legales and shit, spent all of it in 3 months! el club estaba a punto de ser ambargado, y ya se estaba hablando de volver a rentar el equipo, el mismo propuso la venta, porque ya estaba siendo investigado por haberse gastado todo el dinero.
Todos los accionistas que vendieron a Vergara, son chivasde todo corazon, pero lo vendieron porque ya estaban hartos de lidiar con esa gente.
Se supone que nadie del club podia tener mas de 2 acciones, y ese puto no se como le hizo, pero tenia 5.
les digo esto porque yo pase por todo eso con mi mama y mis tios, que lloraban de la frustracion de ver que las cuentas del club ya estaban en numeros rojos, y, aun asi, les mandaban una canasta de fruta para la navidad

I heard that they are going to turn that land they bought from Chivas into some nice developments. I don't know if you guys are into construction projects but this forum skyscraperpage.com (http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=43) has a lot of interesting threads and I think it has a thread on the Chivas instalaciones sale, that forum has a lot of info about buildings and stuff being built all over the world.
