What would your team be if there was a Europe vs Usa football match

I'm from the US, so all I know is that we'd get beat...very badly.

strange topic, Europe v USA at football?

That wouldn't be very fair.

Great idea...

Then we will do a Ryder Cup of Baseball and American Football.

Or we could have the 1776 Cup Derby.

USA vs. England

Or the WWII Cup:

Groups
Axis: Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Japan, Austria
Allies: USA, England, Scotland, France, Russia

Each team from each group plays an opponent from the other group and the group with the most points wins the Cup.

Sadly, the US wouldn't dominate in soccer like they did in war.

Austria didn't exist in WW2 and I think the Allies would prefer Netherlands to Scotland. They'd need a good sub as well since France would go off injured after a few minutes.

Neither did Russia but there really isn't a Soviet National Team and Nazi Germany national team so you have to go with what you have.

Perhaps it should just be Allies England, USA, France and Russia versus Italy, Germany, and Japan.

Instead of USA vs Europe, how about some sort of tourney where each qualifying zone sends a team? Europe and SA would remain heavy favorites, but it could be interesting to watch.

To make it more fair I got a better idea which I think is worth while...instead of Europe vs USA how about Europe vs South America

This thread's bringing 'em all in out of the woodwork, innit?

Here's another "great" idea...How about a World Cup of Aussie Rules Football?
Yeah, that would be, erm, awesome, dude.

And the US get their ass handed to them in that too. The similarities are endless!
