Two games on during my visit next week, going to head to Nevada smits to watch them, A few questions

What time do the games kick off ?

Who am I watching them with ?

Will I be drinking beer, as I'm not much of a drinker.

Just take 5 hours off English time for the kick off.
You will be watching them with a great bunch of guys if you get the same lot that I watched the AFC v. Man. Utd. game with.
You won't be drinking beer with me as I will be back home by then. ;)

You might also be watching the games with Melvin. You will recognise him. He will be the one in the Sperzzz shirt; West Ham scarf; Chavski rossette; Fulham shorts; Charlton socks.....etc. :D

I'm usually there, but for some reason I never seem to run into any of the bigsoccer arsenal fans. Maybe it's because I stand on the wrong end - but i dont like watching on the projector at the back.

If you are looking for the "Big Soccer" guys then they usually hang out in front of the big screen, and the New York "Apple Boys" by the entrance.

Maybe we could meet in the middle? They did just get those nice flat screens and it's right next to the bar.

Seeing as I live near boston and not new york, I'm looking for the best pub to watch arsenal play porto next week for the CL game. I know there are some good footie pubs in boston but does anyone have the inside info on which one or ones are the best??

Actually most of the apple boys have taken to going in further near the big screen but not watching the big screen.

Last time I visited Boston I watched a game at the Pheonix Landing bar. It was early morning and there were very few people. Later some butchy Man U lady was giving me shit for being an Arsenal fan. Unfortunately I didn't have a mirror on hand to show her that she should keep her mouth shut. Anyways, where was I, oh yeah. Pheonix landing or bar.

Depends on what time the game is there.

3pm games are on at 10:00 am here.

You'll be watching them with lots of fans who support many different teams. Nevada's is officially a Man U bar, but alot of other supporter groups call the bar their home as well (except for NY SPurs, they've been exiled to Brooklyn.) . Everyone gets along and just like home, you'll find the Chelsea fans the most annoying. They sing like they've been practising in their garages all week. There is no food at Nevada's other than some Pies, and some people might debate wether or not you can call it food. You can however bring in food and eat it there.

As far as drinking goes, you can have whatever you want. Soda?
