This is the next game on the CMNT menu...MLS season should be over by then and we'll have DeRo suiting up. I think the season in Norway will be done by then too...hopefully we get RSN showing this on the tube, but that might be wishful thinking

Ria Ria HungaRIA! this is gonna be a good match! and it's in BP.. November 15th.. this is a backup friendly because our friendly with Denmark fell through. Anyways I really hope it will be showed by any sports channel in Canada! btw what's Canada's rank? (even though I don't care about rankings, I am still curious).

Since I seem to always be right on what is going to happen I am going to predict now that Lars Hirschfeld will be called to the Hungary game, but he will end up being only the backup and sitting on the bench. He will not end up playing thus eliminating the theory of some of the naive on here that he would not show up to the backup which is why he was not called before. It will be a bone thrown his way by the corrupt CSA who will never start him in a game again, but he will end up attending as the backup.

70-something the last I checked.
Although the nats have had some good results during the past 18 months or so. Beat Austria in Austria, tied the US in the US, only lost 2-1 to Spain in Spain, beat Jamaica in Canada last month.
I would suspect it will be a competitive match.

Why would the City of Toronto try to get Canada's match on TV?

ooh nice nice.. we are in the biggest slump in all of our history.. so I don't see how we would win this game. But we usually do good in friendlies, the coach did say he would put a few new guy's in to test them out, and probably our back up goalie will start. I'd rather just let our U21 team play, since they are much better than our current NT.

The game will be played at Székesfehérvár. Kick off is 20:00...
I'm sure the game will be shown on TV in Hungary, but I haven't heard anything about a Canadian broadcast. Unlikely though...

The Canadian roster has been released:

Hart Announces 17-Player Roster for Hungary Friendly
OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Canada’s men’s national team interim head coach Stephen Hart announced his 17-player roster for the upcoming international friendly match-up against Hungary. The game will take place on November 15th at 8:00 pm local time (2:00 am ET) in Székesfehérvár (just outside of Budapest), Hungary.
Canada’s last match up against Hungary dates back 20 years when both teams met in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Hungary won that game 2:0 played in Iraputo, Mexico.
Hungary (ranked 76th) has lost their last two international matches; one to Malta (1:2) and the other against Turkey (0:1), both in UEFA EURO 2008 Preliminary Competition.
Canada (ranked 71st) on the other hand has performed well in 2006 with an impressive 2:1:1 record with wins against Jamaica and Austria.
MLS (Major League Soccer) player of the year nominee and Houston Dynamo Dwayne de Rosario will be back on the pitch for Canada. De Rosario, who will be playing days before in the MLS Cup final at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas on November 12th, will be take part in his first game for Canada since March 1st 2006 when Canada defeated Austria 2:0.
Another noticeable is Fulham midfielder and Canadian soccer veteran Tomasz Radzinski. Radzinski has been at the fore front of Canada’s successes of late and will be seeking his 32nd cap for the National team. Radzinski was the lone Canadian goalscorer in the second of two friendlies against Jamaica on October 8th, 2006 in Kingston, Jamaica.
Hart may once again call on Greg Sutton of the USL First Division Montréal Impact to act as the guardian between the posts for the Canucks. Sutton will be looking for another shut-out performance. He has collected two in 2006; a 0:0 draw with the United States in January and a 1:0 win against Jamaica on September 4th.
In addition, head coach Stephen Hart decided to bring in a new face to the roster. Calgary native Issey Nakajima-Farran, will be seeking his first cap for the senior team. Nakajima-Farran is currently playing for Vejle Boldklub in the Danish first division.
“Everyone is very enthusiastic about this game,” said Hart. “We have been bitten by the injury bug, however, the intention of these games is to continue to provide an opportunity for players who want to play for Canada, to come into the squad and showcase themselves.”
The team will travel to Budapest, Hungary on November 12th to participate in a series of training sessions prior to the match.

Looks like Cuddles missed with his prediction that Lars would get called in for this one. What a fool, can't he see that Josh Wagenaar is WAY better than him!?
Starting XI in 4-3-3/4-5-1 "chelsea" formation we seem to like to play:
---------------Sutton-------------
Nsaliwa--McKenna--Hainault---Jazic
--------DeGuzman--Hutchinson----
Hume-----------DeRo---------Radz
---------------Friend--------------
We're left with some decent backups. Braz and Pozniak on D, Bernier and Serioux in mid and Issey at forward. (Wagenaar in Goal if needed)....I have a feeling we will see Isseys' debut in this game..and Hainaults' as well..and the return of Tam!

I am simply thrilled to see Tam Nsaliwa back in the Picture. I hope he gets the start beside McKenna in the middle of the back line.

This lineup looks decent. I am surprised to see DeRo included as they have the MLS Cup this weekend. I am very disappointed that Lars is not there. There's something very fishy about his absence. To my knowledge, he is not turning down invitations (which many Cdn fans are saying). You have to be asked before you can refuse and, again, he is not being asked is what I have heard. And, before you ask, fcknuts22 is not my source on this.

Did some scouting on Hungary....
In net Marton Fulop is a 23 yr old Tottenham reserve player.
In D, Bodor of Roda is 24 and has played 11 games. No details on Juhasz, but he has played in Anderlechts last 2 UCL games against Milan.
In mid, Adam Vass of Stoke is not listed on the club roster and has not played this season. I think he's a youngster. Huszti has played 11 games for Hannover and scored twice so far. There are no personal details for him. Hajnal not listed at Kaiserslautern, but neither is Josh Simpson
Filkor has no details, but is listed on the Inter roster. No games played for him this year.
At forward, Priskin is a 20 yr old playing at Watford. He's made 3 sub app. and has an assist. 27 yr old Gera of WBA has scored 3 times this season. He scored 6 times in the EPL 2 years ago. Torghelle is 24 and now plays at PAOK, it shows he played for Crystal Palace in the EPL 2 seasons ago with 1 goal in Carling Cup action. He has started most of Hungary's games in the past while. Nemeth is a 17 yr old up and comer...Farkas not listed for Kiev in last 2 UCL rosters against Lyon.
